Strategies & Implementations
The AADC was established to enhance the lives of all residents in the region by developing effective strategies to meet the many challenges that confront the region and to coordinate regional strengths that offer solutions to these challenges.
Transparency
GuideStar is the world's largest information service specializing in reporting on U.S. nonprofit companies. A GuideStar Seal of Transparency indicates that a nonprofit has provided key information in its profile which allows potential donors and funders to make educated decisions about our work. The AADC is proud to demonstrate our commitment to transparency with a Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar. This is the highest award for transparency offered by GuideStar and involved sharing information such as program names and descriptions, audited financial report, and descriptions of agency goals, strategies, accomplishments, and metrics. According to GuideStar, less than 1% of non-profits provide this degree of transparency to the general public.
